The Dog Shoppe opened its doors in 1989, and Renee has been there every step of the way.  She learned how to groom through apprenticeship and continues her education through webinars and hands-on education.

Renee's first dogs were Miniature Schnauzers; she now has Standard Schnauzers. She is very active in the dog world and has earned titles in multiple sports with her dogs. She currently runs agility and shows in conformation with her two Standards, Howard and Eugene. 

 

Renee is currently a member of the Grand Rapids Agility Club, Grand Rapids Kennel Club, Standard Schnauzer Club of America, and Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada.
